Welcome, friends, to the Elves’ Workshop. Step through the ice crystal doorway into a twinkling, hope-filled, magical place where, alongside the gentle, joyful guidance of elves, children hammer, stamp metal and leather, paint, fold, sew, and weave. These workshops feed the noble and grateful soul, designating space for children to make gifts for their loved-ones and decide for themselves what those gifts will look like. It is a time for giggling and gathering up the twin joys of giving and creating.

Welcome, families, to the Main Hall, where we celebrate our community by making wreaths and golden crowns together; where we browse Waldorf books and puzzles and graciously bid on an array of silent auction items; where, together, we experience live music as we ladle our bowls full of homemade soup and butter our homemade bread.

Welcome, community, to our puppet play, presented by the 3rd and 4th grade classes. In the reverent dark we marvel at these glowing and humble children, as we acknowledge the powerful essence of Waldorf education.

Welcome, everyone, to The Elves’ Workshop, a time in early December to be playful and to honor the spirit of Waldorf, which radiates from the light inside all of us and calls us all to share that light with others.
